Youth Service Project 2016

Some 60 youth meet weekly at FBC for CrossTraining and CrossWalk activities during which they have Bible lessons, make a craft (preschool-6th grade) to supplement the lesson, worship with song, and fellowship during the meal. Sharing the love of Christ is modeled by those leaders who work with these youth, and recently the kids have been sharing this love through community service projects that have included making and sharing Valentines with the residents of Kent County Nursing Home and then the “knot blanket project” highlighted in the pictures in this album. The project was coordinated by L'Rae Lee who shared her personal story in the "Knotted Frame Narrative." Please take the time to read how God used a blanket in L'Rae's family situation, and her plan to reach families in similar situations.
