I LOVE the Christmas story photos! How precious and wonderful that there are still public places where The Story can be told freely! Wish I could have been there!

I can't believe I've never heard of VBS but you can bet I'll be looking in my area next year. This is brilliant!

I am a retired minister. As an 18 yr old evangelist I conducted a revival in 1954 at the Assembly of God Church in Seymour, TX
A family came to the Lord in that revival. One member of the
family (Marvin Laughlin) gave me a service person\\\'s New Testament with a personal message of gratitude in it. I have often wondered if any members of that family still reside in that area. Their address at that time was Rt. 1, J ayton, TX. I would be really grateful if you could reply to this message and have any knowledge of this family. Thank you -

As chasing a lark, I thought I would look up Jayton FBC and found a picture of your Wednesday night Bible study leader G. L. Hamilton. In college at Hardin-Simmons, G. L. was one of those guys I looked up to. Hope he is doing well. Frankly, it does not surprise me that G. L. would be involved in the ministry of your church. Give him my best.

The First Baptist Church Jayton has been my home church for over 70 years. The Church is the people, who has always made me fill welcome and has comforted me and my family during sad times. I am proud of Patricia and whoever else has put this web page up for all to visit and use. God Bless.

What cherished memories I have of time spent worshipping and learning in the pews of FBC Jayton! All it takes is one of the old hymns and I find myself right back there, sitting beside my precious Aunt Annie, soaking in the Spirit of God as He moved in our midst. It is where I was saved and baptized in 1980. This beautiful church has been such a centerpoint in the lives of so many. May God continue to bless it's congregation.
